Disphyma crassifolium. (Dew Plant)
These plant are often seen trailing down cliff faces particularly near lands end. They are salt tolerant, wind tolerant, drought tolerant and easy to grow.
The hold lush green jelly bean shaped leaves on strings that ramble and trail and look fantastic in baskets and containers but also beds and borders and banks. They are lush and green spring and summer in autumn and winter the leaves turn a decorative orange colour.
The flowers open in summer are approx. 2 cm wide and are purple centred in white.
Very easy to grow and a fantastic unusual plant that is rarely found for sale.
Comes in a 7cm pot with a few 'strings' fast growing keep in pots or plant out. Best in full sun in free draining soil.
