Oenothera biennis. (Evening Primrose)
Evening primrose is a well known plant used in lotions and medicines. It is just as useful in the garden. The tall long flowering spikes offer shape and colour and are loved by our wildlife. The seed pods can add interest through the colder months.
Tolerant to most soil types. Typically flowers in its second year before setting seed. Seeds can be sown or allowed to naturally fall for a naturalistic effect.
Comes as a young plant in 9cm pot to flower within a few months.
