Commonly known as the spider plant, these drought tolerant clump forming perennials are fantastic house and garden (in mild areas) plants.
They are easy to grow and tolerate neglect. They are well known for their purifying qualities so are fantastic for cleaning the air in your house. Great in pots and baskets.
Like a partially sunny spot water sparingly and feed during the summer months only.
Can be grown outdoors as either annual bedding or perennial if in areas protected from frosts.
This is for the all green version which is rarely offered over the striped leaf. We however like the simplicity of it. It can also tolerate more shade.
Comes in a 9cm pot pot on when the roots show at the base. Use a potting compost and potting grit mixture.
