Mentha 'Variegata' (Pineapple Mint)
Mint now comes in so many forms. This is a delicated scented form of mint that often sends out a white variegation. It is slower growing than some mints and a softer leaf texture and colour comes on the stems up to 40cm tall. Grown for its leaf and scent is also useful in cooking.
Grows in full sun or part shade. Can be grown in the ground or containers. Containers are advized if you wish to keep to a set size as mint can grow quickly. Very easy to grow.
This is a perennial so will enter dormancy as just roots in winter. Spring will show new growth Summer in full growth and flower. Autumn the mint begins to die back for winter. Depending when you purchase this item it may be at different stages of growth.
Plants will be sent in 9cm pot. Upon arrival unpack carefully and if dry give a little water. Acllimatise the plant to its new environment before potting on or planting out.
