We have always loved this plant. Its golden leaves add gorgeous colour to borders and containers. The scent is a classic of warm mediteranean, plant it where you brush past. The flowers emerge in summer they are only small but smother the plant and the bees especially honey bees love them. A must have for any scented scheme, culinary planting or wildlife planting.
The herb is completely edible and can be used raw or cooked simply pick as you need it. Likes full sun and free draining soil. Looks good trailing down walls and banks. But can be planted in many locations. Also acts as excellent ground cover.
