This is a gorgeous perennial that can be grown in soil or water. It emerges in spring with new shoots that open as the plant grows upwards. Eventual height can vary but peaks around 60cm in summer at which point the delicate flowers offer a splash of colour and nectar source for the bees.
The mint can be grown in damp soil or up to 20cm of water, Potted or bare rooted.
As with all herbaceous perennials the appearance of the plant will vary depending on the time or year and its natural phase of growth.
