Tillandsia spp. (Airplants).
Tillandsia are more commonly called air plants.
They grow by absorbing their nutrients from the air and therefore require no soil.
They come in so many shapes and colours and growth habits from small silver clumps to large twisted bronze leaves. All have pretty little flowers and some even smell lovely.
They like bright but diffused light. Imagine the dappled light coming through a rainforest canopy.
These can be spritzed with feed and water once every couple of weeks in summer and bimonthly in winter (if kept in very hot or dry room increase frequency). They can also be submerged in water once a month during times of dry/heat for about an hour. Then left to drip return after fully dry. Little else is needed.
These come as a pack of three different cultivars picked at random. All are healthy plants.
