Leucanthemum are commonly known as Shasta daisy's they are a must have for any garden and come in such a wide selection their truly is something for everyone.
These are the wild daisy often seen on roadsides. They are a simple must have for anyone. Pot of ground grown in sun or part shade. Happy in poor soils.
The plants are semi evergreen perennials this means they have a dormant phase which is during winter at this point they are evident as just short leaves. From spring they grow taller spikes which reach 0.7m and are covered in white daisy's with a yellow centre each flower 5 cm across. Each plant once established can hold a few hundred blooms over a season. A very long blooming season right through to autumn.
Bold and beautiful a must have for beds borders and large containers.
Easy to grow. comes in a litre pot
Plants will be shipped in the pot size selected. Upon arrival unpack and water place in a cool semi shady spot to allow to recover from shipping. After a day or two these can be planted out. Dig a hole the size of the pot and fill with water. Sprinkle a handful of slow release food granules into the hole (this is optional but will give the plants an added boost and can be purchased with your order) soak the plant pot and remove the whole plant and its soil in one place directly into the hole back firm and firm in well to ensure their are no air pockets. Water in. Should the weather be hot during planting further watering may be necessary. Otherwise simply enjoy and trim back old flowers head once they have gone over.
