Primula japonica 'Apple Blossom'. (Candelabra Primula)
These primula are hardy and very easy to grow they are stunning additions to any garden.
Large primula leaves give rise to flower spikes in spring with circles of flowers around the stems in a chandelier style.
The plants are long lasting as long as they never completely dry out. They are happy in beds and borders where the soil stays damp and work amazingly in and around shallow streams and ponds or bog gardens. Can be planted with their roots submerged but ensure the leaves are above water.
These are known to flower from spring through to the end of autumn once mature.
The flowers emerge in spring and continue through summer. The plant bulk up year by year and can produce a wonderful display. Best in full sun or part shade.

Plants will be shipped in a 9cm pot. Upon arrival unpack and water place in a cool semi shady spot to allow to recover from shipping. After a day or two these can be planted out. Dig a hole the size of the pot and fill with water. Sprinkle a handful of slow release food granules into the hole (this is optional but will give the plants an added boost and can be purchased with your order) soak the plant pot and remove the whole plant and its soil in one place directly into the hole back firm and firm in well to ensure their are no air pockets. Water in. Should the weather be hot during planting further watering may be necessary. Otherwise simply enjoy and trim back old flowers head once they have gone over.
