Skimmia are hardy evergreen shrubs that prefer to be in full or part shade making them fantastic for darker areas. The leaves are an attractive glossy green and new shoots a bright colour adding contrast against the old. The flowers comes in spring summer and emerge from pink buds to white blooms which smell delightful.
This is the female plant, when planted with a male cultivar it will form berries after flowering
Once established the plants are drought tolerant, frost & snow hardy. Can tolerant shade and wind and are happy by the coast.
