Lampranthus are stunning trailing / rambling plants that grow over summer and hold bold flowers in mass that open with the sun and close up at night. These are drought tolerant and fantastic in scree gardens, rockeries & containers. When in bloom the plants are smothered in a mass of colour.
The plants like free draining soils and full sun.
Ours have seen through droughts, high winds, persistant rain and frosts down to minus 8. All without concern.
These plants need little to no maintenance and will even tolerant minimal soils. A perfect must have for anywhere.
