Gynostemma (Sweet Tea Vine)
Often called the sweet tea vine this is a trailing perennial which has attractive leaves said to make a pleasant tea which by folklore, will create immortality. The plant is aesthetically pleasing in tall pots and baskets and does well as an edible or an ornamental.
Easy to grow however does need to be protected from hard frosts, it can come back from a light frost however the top growth will die off then new growth appears in spring.
Likes full sun and free draining compost.
