Allium ursinium is well known for creating swathes of white blooms in hedgerows in late spring.
It is sometimes known as wild garlic or ramsons It is closely related to the also edible Allium triquetrum commonly known as three cornered leek or wild garlic (the common names often being used interchangeably)
This plant is also fantastic for cooking, every part being edible,
easy to grow and tolerant to most conditions
plant comes in 9cm pot when in the green or as a minimum of 3 good sized tubers when dormant.
note during autumn and winter these are dormant as just bulbs so pots may not have any top growth, this is normal and nothing to worry about. plant the entire contents of the pot where desired for growth in spring
