Their double, peony-shaped flowers up to 6cm / 2½" across, come in a wide range of colours, including red, white, pink, rose, yellow, gold, orange and purple! the pot contains a minimum of 5 plants at random so colour mix is a lucky dip.
- Flowers are held on stems up to 25cm / 10" high. They generally come from May to July, from planting in early spring. However, the tubers may be kept in their dry state, so you can also plant them in late spring for flowering in September and later, which will give your garden a real boost when most plants are past their best. Even better, the blooms are great for cut flowers, with a vase life of up to two weeks.
