This pretty little British native plant has slender dark-green leaves and produces umbels of three-petalled pinkish flowers with a yellow centre all summer. After it goes over, each flower leaves an attractive spiky seed head. It is very free-flowering, clump-forming, and just lovely for tub gardens or small ponds. When flowering slows down, trimming off the seed heads will cause a fresh burst of flowers to appear.
Comes in a 9cm pot ready to pot on or straight into the pond. Best in damp ground or shallow water up to 5cm above the crown.
Upon arrival carefully unpack, water and allow a couple of days to settle in cool lightly shaded conditions before planting out. Water well until established after which little care is needed.
