Dahlia are fantastic autumn perennials which have bold blousy flowers in many different forms. They are fantastic for beds and borders, the singles are loved by bees and they make amazing cut flowers.
We grow many of our dahlia from seed (it may be a surprise to some that a dahlia will grow to the same size and flower as those grown from tuber in just 1 year so by flowering you cant tell they were seeds just a few months ago.
The plants come as a healthy plant, the time of year depends on how it is received. in winter spring it will be a bare root tuber in summer autumn it will be a potted plant
