Bulbine Orange
Bulbine are great clump forming succulents with long tubular glossy green leaves, they form slowly spreading clumps which grow well in containers as well as the ground. They like full sun and free draining soil. preferring to be dry.
The flowers are a beautiful orange and flower for most of the year once established with new spikes replacing old one for months on end.
Not frost hardy so we recommend growing on patios in glasshouses or conservatories if you are in frost prone areas.
Ours love to be in glasshouses that receive evening sun. they tolerate down to zero degrees c. keep dry in winter. happy in warmer rooms as long as the light levels are high. can be grown outside in summer.
