Fuchsia aborescens
The Fuchsia has so many different forms. This one produces bright pink mini flowersa top large green leaves. The flowers are followed by dark blue edible berries.
Best grown as a patio or indoor plant. Outside in summer and indoors in winter works well. As with all fuchsia provide shade of summer sun and more light in the winter. Keep on the drier side during the wetter months.
Can form a wonderful shrub and extend the fruit picking season into sept-november.
Comes in a 9cm pot to plant straight out
Happy growing in containers or beds and borders. Eventual height and spread 1 x 1m can be kept small by pruning or allowed to grow. Best in full sun although will tolerate part shade. Tolerant to the majority of soil types and aspects.
Plant is sent as a healthy young plant in p9 (0.5l) pot, grown from vegetative propagation guaranteeing the cultivar. The photo shows the parent plant in full flower. These can be grown on then planted to final position or planted straight out.
